Altar servers assist the clergy at weekend Masses as well as special Masses (examples:  Holy Week Services, Christmas, etc).  Children must have received the Catholic sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation and First Holy Communion in order to be a member of this ministry.

Guidance and training is done by Deacon Ron Lacsa who will teach new servers how to serve with respect and reverence.  They will also learn the names of the sacred vessels and how they are used.  Servers are emailed schedules from Deacon Ron and will be asked to serve at least once a month.

Altar Servers have one of the most important roles in the Catholic Church, and the parish of St. Martin of Tours is grateful to have boys and girls serve at the Altar of the Lord.  God bless you and your families!
